Mock Tuna Salad

I’m always on the hunt for new ways to get plant-based protein onto my plate. This mock tuna salad recipe is one that I came across last year during seasonal wellness cleanse at my yoga studio. On the last day of the workshop, we had a clean food potluck, and this was one of the items on our buffet. It was a hit! Granted, the experience of eating natural, whole foods after the broth-phase of a month-long cleanse can be intense (not to mention eye-opening), to say the very least, but there was no denying that this dish is a keeper.

Various Options for Your Mock Tuna Salad

It’s great on its own, as a salad topper, as a spread or dip, or in a nori-wrap. There are oh-so-many options for this nutty dish. Even though I love the real deal tuna fish, it’s nice to take a break from the same old thing, and it’s nice to give the environment and food system a breather. Enjoy this fab salad!
